Haunted South Carolina: Ghosts and Strange Phenomena of the Palmetto State by Alan Brown
Please try again later. The majority of entries are history relating mostly and then a couple paragraphs are given over to whatever spectral or paranormal events may be experienced. There are some places where explanations may be given to explain but otherwise it is pretty much straightforward.
What bothered me the most was that the author seemed to rely too much on others' work so there was a constant resource of another author and their research. Maybe it cannot be helped with as much people out there that are interested and writing about the paranormal or maybe it is just easy to use these open sources within one's work.
As for the book in the whole it was decent and a lot better than the last one I had read of the same genre. For the history buff or the amateur historian this will be an interesting book.
